Untold Stories Theatre is seeking Assistant Stage Manager & Running Crew team members from Calgary and the surrounding area with all backgrounds and experience levels to submit for our production of Grease directed by Leslie Han.
Assistant Stage Manager
Assist the Stage Manager with the organization and smooth operation of rehearsals, technical rehearsals, performances, and strike.
Serve as the primary liaison between the cast and Stage Manager during shows, ensuring clear communication and maintaining a focused, respectful rehearsal environment.
Support rehearsal logistics by setting up and resetting spaces, tracking blocking and choreography, recording rehearsal videos, assisting as needed in all areas.
Participate in auditions, rehearsals, load-in, tech week, performances, and strike, while being prepared to step into additional leadership responsibilities as needed.
Must be aged 16+
Running Crew
Assist the Stage Manager and Assistant Stage Manager(s) with the organization and smooth operation of rehearsals, technical rehearsals, performances, and strike.
Support rehearsal logistics by setting up and resetting spaces, tracking blocking and choreography, recording rehearsal videos, assisting as needed in all areas.
Participate in rehearsals, load-in, tech week, performances, and strike, while being prepared to step into additional leadership responsibilities as needed.
Be prepared to cover Assistant Stage Manager duties if required in their absence.
Must be aged 16+

Rehearsals
August 9 - November 12th, 2026
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Sundays: 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Tech Days
November 15th - 19th, 2026
Sunday: 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Monday - Thursday: 6 p.m. - 11 p.m.
All production team members are required for all Tech Days/Evenings.
Shows
November 20th - December 5th, 2026
Weekdays & Saturdays: 7 p.m.
Saturdays & Sundays: 2 p.m.
MUST be available for all shows.
