Untold Stories Theatre is proud to present

Into the Woods

The Brothers Grimm hit the stage with an epic fairytale about wishes, family, and the choices we make.

Follow a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk, on a journey to break a curse, find a better life, and provide for a family. With a cast full of storybook characters, they will learn that what you wish may not be worth what you get, and that even the best of actions have their consequences.

James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim take everyone's favorite storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece of theatre. The Tony Award-winning book and score are both enchanting and touching.

At Untold Stories Theatre, we prioritize creating a safe and informed environment for all our patrons. Into the Woods includes moments of kissing, flirting, and suggestive lyrics, along with subtle implications of a romantic encounter between two characters who are married to others. Additionally, there are hints of physical relationships between some other characters. All mature content is conveyed through subtext, with no explicit physical intimacy beyond kissing and flirting portrayed on stage.
