Purpose
Untold Stories Theatre (“UST”) is committed to the protection, safety, and well-being of minors under the age of 18. UST recognizes that this population is vulnerable and therefore wants to ensure they are protected from all forms of injury and abuse while working in the care of UST. To this end, the following policies and procedures outline the screening processes and working practices of UST to reduce the risk of potentially hiring abusive individuals, ensure the safety of the children working in UST’s care, and establish reporting procedures in the event a minor is in need of intervention.

Purpose
At Untold Stories Theatre we believe in safe spaces, but we also believe in brave spaces. A brave space includes safety for each other and accountability for ourselves. By implementing Braver Spaces Guidelines, we will strive to be respectful, self-aware, and mindful of the working dynamic and our place in it. A Braver Space reminds us to be courageous and to participate in thoughtful and considerate ways.
