About the Class
Have you ever wanted to learn how to tap dance? Do you have a little bit of tap experience but still feel lost in a dance call? Then this class is for you!
Spanning the course of six weeks, this class is great for beginner tap dancers as a way to learn the basics, brush up your skills, or simply have some fun!
The class will span three levels of tap every night:
Level 1: Learning tap steps and the basics of tap terminology
Level 2: Short tap combos and putting the steps together
Level 3: Choreo only*, building up skills (excellent for audition/dance call prep!)
* There will be no dance steps taught for level 3, only choreo combinations as if in a dance call.
Participants are welcome to attend as many levels as they’d like per night, all for the same cost!
Our instructor, Mikee encourages all students to challenge themselves and see how far they can grow!

Do I Need My Own Tap Shoes?
Short answer: No!
There are a limited amount of tap shoes available to be lent out for the duration of the class. Once you sign up for the class you will be sent a form and there is a space available for you to request a set of tap shoes (this is all dependent on size and availability).
If you do not have tap shoes, a hard soled non-marking dress shoe will work just fine!
